We enjoyed suite with walk in shower. Location: the hotel was just next door to Torquay, shops nearby and restaurants.

We had a very enjoyable stay here. The room was spotlessly clean and had everything we needed. Even though it was a standard twin and overlooked the railway, we were never disturbed by the noise of the trains etc and slept well. The room was a great size and the bathroom was very large too. Although we were on a b&b basis, we ate at the hotel each night and the food was excellent and if you wanted a slight variation, the staff were more than happy to help. I would definitely recommend this hotel for it's rooms, food and staff - shame it's not nearer to my home to visit again.

Spotlessly clean rooms, scenic views to a sea view. Tasty English breakfast - outstanding selection. Pleasant, really good staff members in the evening dining room need training in customer service.

The hotel was clean and staff were all polite. I appreciated the suite which was fancy. This accommodation was in the very central location near the train station. Food in the main bar was appetising. The view was glorious, the service was exceptional. Overall my stay was excellent and would return there.

Nice tidy room at a controllable temperature unlike some hotels that are like a sauna.
The Hotel Garage as they call it really is a dump and needs rebuilding. Rain was dripping in while unloading which makes for an unpleasant start to our stay.

Its location
The bathroom!!! Specifically on 2 issues: 1) It was in dire need of an major modernisation (no miser tap on the hand washbasin). 2) The shower was not only extremely difficult to turn on & off, it also would not maintain a constant heat.
